  现代通讯科技有哪些?包括email, twitter, we-chat, facebook等等,这些科技大大加快了人与人之间的沟通速度,降低了沟通的成本,因此对那些需要沟通的人或事来说,这些通讯科技无疑是有作用的,比如某个人需要紧急帮助的消息可以在一小时内传遍全球,和传统的交流方式相比,这无疑是有利的。

  另外,现代通讯科技还可以让人在不见面的情况下就可以通过发图片视频等方式顺利交流,这可以避免面对面交流的尴尬,往往使交流更有效。

  当然,现代通讯科技也有不好的地方,比如人们过于依赖远程交流,妨碍了面对面交流的能力,而且这种基于数字化技术的交流方式也更容易引起法律方面的纠纷,更不用说,过于依赖手机交流容易引发安全问题和身体健康问题。

  Yet modern communication technologies can be negative in some ways. While some people may find it a good thing that they can avoid face-to-face communication by sending digital pictures or videos, this lack of face-to-face exchange may actuallyimpair our ability to properly express our personal feelings or opinions. The heavydependence on the digital communication technologies, for instance, may result in our failure to understand other people’s facial expression and other body language, which in turn may lead to the failure of the communication. In addition, without much personal warmth, this technology-based communication creates distances among people and makes them care less about each other, turning this world into a much colder place.

However, as a powerful technique of promoting sales, it has been censured by some people for its “main aim”: to encourage shoppers to buy unnecessary goods. I tend to think that this view presents a very one-sided picture of advertising.
