The artificial intelligence is witnessing game-changing development. While some argue that it may pose a threat to human beings and stall social progress, I entertain the view that it will make a huge difference to our future development.

2011年的老题，审题上有一些易错点：some的观点落在关键词组future development，也就是写一些当下的好处而没有体现未来情况的都是跑题，比如：效率增高、便利，且论述均以一般现在时为主，也没有特别指出将来的时间点。others的观点落在dangerous，只有对人的生命造成威胁的，才能被称为危险的。因此，对社会的负面影响单纯落在失业率增加等老生常谈的观点上，是轻微跑题的。

For instance, there have been several reports about the malfunction of the AI technology installed in transport or manufacturing industry. However, with repeated tests and regular overhaul, those risks can be reduced. The automation technology is believed to eventually reach the high level of accuracy, precision, and sophistication.

Owing to the longevity of pensioners and lower birth rate, an increasing number of countries, especially developed ones, are plagued by inadequate labor force, and such insufficiency is projected to be intensifying in the future. In this case, robots can act as eligible workers and well perform sundry tasks in workplace even with less faults. Besides, people will lead a more convenient life, with intelligent machines to offer 24-hour services, which will reduce and costs of employing more staff to work in turn and meanwhile motivate people to engage themselves in more advanced fields.

每一个阶段的题库中都会有那么一两个事件题是让我们描述以往经历过的不开心事件，比如Describe someone or something that made a lot of noise(描述某人或某物发出很大的噪声)，或者Describea time you lost something important.(描述某一次你丢失了重要的东西)。
面对这类消极事件题，答题过程中要注意情感的抒发，在叙事的过程中不断将个人的感受描述出来，如果能做到让考官感同身受就更好了。
但是，很多同学属于个性比较内敛，不太擅长表露感情的那一类，短期之内，也的确很难在性格上做出改变，所以我们最好用一些句子来体现情绪。哪怕说得没那么充满感情，也至少可以在句型方面加分，让考官刮目相看。

句型一
I was so furious about it!
我当时真的怒了!
这个句子中的furious是一个形容词，表示极其愤怒的，比angry的程度更深，是一个表达情绪的绝佳句型，我们也可以把so替换成extremely这个程度副词来进一步加深愤怒的程度，Iwas extremely furious about it.
参考段落：Last Thursday night, people who lived upstairs were holding a party and playing loud heavy metal music constantly for 4 hours. They were new here and didn’t know the rule thatnobody
in our community is allowed to play so loudly at midnight. I was so furious about it and went upstairs hoping to silence them. It worked. They stopped.
句型二
You can’t imagine how upset I was when it happened.
你无法想象我当时有多么沮丧!
这句话运用了第二人称you，在考试的时候考官就是这个you,是我们说话的对象，运用这种句型的目的是将考官带入到我们的情绪中。
参考段落：I lost my phone last Friday. It was the third time that I lost my phone in a year. You can’t imagine how upset I was when it happened. I was totally speechless. I wish it had never happened, but there’s nothing I could do about it.

It is definitely my worst experience ever.
这绝对是我此生最差的经历。
这个句子有两个加分点，一个是程度副词definitely的运用，一个是形容词最高级worst的使用。
参考段落：I was on the bus and saw an accident. Two cars crashed and both of the drivers died. It was such a tragedy. I felt so sorry for them. At the same time, my bus had to be blocked on the road and couldn’t move a bit. It is definitely my worst experience ever.
句型四
That’s a bummer.
真是倒了霉了!
这是一句英美人士非常喜欢的口头语，美剧中很常见。当遇到倒霉的事情时，会脱口而出。Bummer的意思就是倒霉的事。
参考段落：I took the wrong side of the subway this morning and got late for school. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. What’s worse, my professor criticized me and didn’t give me a chance to explain.That’s a bummer.
句型五
I was helpless. I didn’t know whom to ask for help.
我好无助啊，不知道向谁求助。
这句话要注意动词时态是过去时态，因为我们描述的是在过去发生的闹心事件中所拥有的无助感。
参考段落：I remember once I was in a strange city wandering on the street in the evening. It was late and there was no bus any more. I was a bit scared of taking a taxi, so I walked back to my hotel.
